Dump of my head (basically my top 4 obsessions right now)

   I randomly got the idea at night while organizing my Pinterest board and I thought "what a great idea !". Of course it is not a revolutionary concept and I understand that however I feel it is a fantastic way to think about all the things that bring me joy in my life (and I truly need that). Anyway here's my top 4, I hope you will enjoy it <3

 BRIDGET JONES DIARY 

   I recently watched Bridget Jones Diary and that was such a fresh bowl of air, I'm not even kidding. I totally fell in love with the film, and the relationship between Bridget and Darcy. By the way, the fight between Mark and Daniel will always be my favorite scene. During this evening, I was not ok at all and what do I when I'm sad ? Continue to cry ? Hell no, I watch a comedy and my sad tears became happy tears because how cute the end is ! I saw my old self in Bridget, a woman with low self-esteem who is worried about her weight. Nevertheless her strength is inspiring and I absolutely adore her spontaneity which makes her an amazing person. 

   I think what makes me love Bridget Jones Diary is that it is a British romcom and I am obsessed with the style of the 2000's British romcom. It just feels natural and true. My personal favorite romcom is The Holiday, with Kate Winslet. I saw on TikTok another microtrend (how surprising): The Frazzled Englishwoman, which is basically Bridget Jones, Iris in The Holiday or Juliet in Love Actually played by Keira Knightley and I like it a lot. It is sort of a celebration of the British fashion worn in the 2000 around the country. 

CAFTAN

   Thank you Moroccans for creating the most perfect dress ever. I have a wedding in 3 months so during my trip to Algeria, I've been looking for dresses to wear and even tho my country made fabulous dresses, I have to admit that caftans own my heart. My favorite ones were emerald and royal blue but they did not have my size but I bought one that is pink and I have no words to describe how much I love it. It is a very simple caftan while at the beginning I wanted something more extravagant however I still like it. 

ROBERT WUN COLLECTION FALL 2025 COUTURE

   I am a huge fan of Robert Wun and his work. His two collections are like pieces of art full of delicacy and mystery. When you see his creations, you are amazed and want to know the meaning behind it. Anyway, I saw his collection Fall 2024 Couture and as usual I was impressed. The meaning behind it is to show us how time pass by. He said: 

“I asked myself why I do fashion, and what does time mean?
“ Did he find an answer? 
“Yes, I did. The answer is to accept that one day everything ends - and that’s okay.”

The designer translated the concept of the passing of time into actual clothing by using the four seasons. By the way for spring, he symbolized thanks to flowers and according to Chinese philosophy, "flowers are beautiful because they aren’t meant to be forever. If they’d blossom forever people wouldn’t find beauty in them.” He also represented the skin, the flesh, the bones and the soul to symbolize the human nature that is not eternal. 

My personal favorite is the soul with tiny multicolored crystals. Robert Wun said “The soul isn’t meant to perish, it goes back to the universe.”

FORMULA 1

    Formula 1 is actually the only sport that I've been a fan of. Like for football I would watch a couple of matches but I would not follow every single news about it because I don't care but with Formula 1, it's different. I met a friend (hi Nora <3) a few month ago through an instagram group and we started to get to know each other. She is a Formula 1 fan, so every time that I would see on social media something related to that sport, Ferrari, Carlos Sainz or Charles Leclerc (she supports this team and those drivers) I would send it to her because it is my love language. 

   One thing led to another, I started to do research about Formula 1, watch videos and Drive To Survive and I fell in love in love with this sport. The first Grand Prix that I watched was the one in Canada and how exciting it was ! Of course, I am still learning the technical aspect of the sport but it doesn't take away the joy that I have for it. I like the strategic side of Formula 1, how it is kinda a team work and I think what I look up to in this sport is the winner mindset of some drivers which is inspiring for me (how they handle stress, how they do not give up and basically their tenacity). For now I think my favorite team is Red Bull and my favorite drivers are Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton and Oscar Piastry.
